The police personnel attached to a leading commercial bank in Yenegoa, has been arrested for killing a corps member; as well as injuring a commercial bus driver.
On 6th January, 2020, the police personnel attached to a leading commercial bank in Yenegoa; had an altercation with a driver of a commercial bus over parking rights.
During the argument, the policeman allegedly pulled the trigger of his rifle injuring the driver and a corps member. This altercation allegedly left the Corps member dead; while the bus driver is in critical condition fighting for his life at the Federal Medical Centre.
The suspect was arrested on the orders of the state commissioner of police; and is currently in detention at the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department.
