#KogiDecides: Results, Casualties, And Reactions.

Remember when Governor El-Rufai and First Lady, Aisha Buhari were on their knees, begging the people of Kogi State to forgive Yahaya Bello, and re-elect him?

Didn’t know that? Now you do.

The current governor of the state, Bello, was, and is still owing Kogi State workers two years worth of salary.

So, you can imagine the outrage that El-Rufai and Aisha Buhari sparked nationwide when they pleaded for Kogi to forgive and forget.

Now, why is #KogiDecides trending on twitter?

I’ll tell you;

Governor Yahaya Bello is set to be declared winner of the governorship election in Kogi state.

The governor has won majority votes in 12 of the 21 local government areas in the state; while the PDP Candidate, Engr. Musa Wada won majority votes in 9 local government areas.

The State Collation Officer is expected to make a final declaration later after due computation.

Nigerians are taking to the social media app, to air their grievances, and also concerns about the results of the Kogi Gubernatorial elections:

The elections, also claimed the lives of two people; A trained staff of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC and a graduate of Kogi state Polytechnic;
