Call For Applications: Apply For The Poets In Nigeria (PIN) Student Ambassador

About The Opportunity

We are seeking the representation of students enrolled in all tertiary institutions in the country.

This initiative is designed to have students represent and promote the objectives of PIN on campuses. Summarily, a PIN Student Ambassador is a student and a poet or poetry enthusiast. You will be flying the flag of PIN in a tertiary institution.

As organizers of the Nigerian Students Poetry Prize (NSPP); PIN prioritizes the promotion of literature amongst the younger generation via the creation of several literary opportunities enabling the honing of their literary crafts.

You Are Eligible For This If You Are:

  •  Must be a student of a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria
  • Must be a poet or lover of poetry interested in the promotion of poetry
  • Should have a good grasp of your learning environment

Activities

  • Physical and virtual promotion of PIN Initiatives, especially the Nigerian Students Poetry Prize (NSPP).
  • Setting up of a PIN Connect Centre (a PIN Hub) on campus where lovers of literature could meet to connect.
  • Monthly submissions of literary works and reports of activities to be published on PIN Website
  • Organization of literary outreaches enhancing the visibility of PIN amongst students
  • Participation in PIN events when invited
