The Flying Eagles finished second in the group stage and proceeded to beat South Africa, drawing against Burkina Faso and Morocco. Now, the team is in the knockout stage, warming up for a semi-final showdown against Mali today, which we think they’ll most likely win.
The most inspiring of the two, the Falconets, displayed resilience right from the start, finishing tops in Group B. They also went through the knockout stage, beating Algeria 3-0 to make it to the finals. Now, they will be looking to win the tournament for the third time as they face Cameroon.
